The entertainment industry is rightly expressing horror over the actions of one of their own, Harvey Weinstein. The entertainment industry is rightly behind the “me too” movement. Yet, they take the stage at the largest entertainment event in America and they lead the nation in feeding the very lust that drives the actions of a Weinstein and perpetrators of the assaults they condemn.
They stand on a stage at an event every law enforcement official tells us is an epicenter of sex trafficking, and they invite their own children to participate in the worship of sexual objectification of women. They seem to think this display allowed their children “to use their voices and be proud of everything they are.” While doing so in one regard they debase their young women in another.
